We’re going to see this morning that the saving might of God is at work in his servants as they speak the power and the Word of God. We’re going to immerse ourselves in this story, this narrative, and consider the deeper meaning it has for us; the deeper meaning of Luke; and the deeper meaning of God and what he has for us.

We are called to be servants of God who trust the Word of God, and those who act differently in the midst of a crisis. In so doing, we provide testimony of hope in the power, grace, and faithfulness in the power of God.
