And So We Came to Rome_web

God has purposes in the journey even when the journey seems like a disaster. We see that God is sovereign over that and has good purposes through that.

Believers are blessed by the hospitality of unbelievers and encouraged by believers. This part of the narrative of Acts points us in an unexpected direction challenging us with what it means to be a community; to have genuine fellowship with one another.

This is supremely relevant to us. As we know we are a highly individualist culture. We are highly independent. We greatly value independence and individualism. We in the church have been greatly influenced by our culture.

So, it’s my prayer this morning we all might increasingly value true community in the church. A true family here.
