They Should Repent and Turn to God
Speaker: Pastor James Wychers Series: The Rise and Witness of the Church Topic: The Early Church Scripture: Acts 26:1–3
The gospel calls for a radical transfer of allegiance from worldly things to Jesus who is the Lord. Through this transfer of allegiance, we find ourselves in the family of God.
We experience the hope, the peace, the joy that it is to be part of the family of God in a world that’s full of trouble.
In this passage we will encounter spiritual blindness—our own spiritual blindness. We’ll encounter the darkness in our own hearts, the power of Satan. We going to encounter sin and the need for forgiveness; the reality of saving faith and power of God to save.
The question I want to honestly consider is this: Who or what rules our hearts?
My prayer is that we will find more clarity about where we stand before God—the God of salvation
We’ll find more clarity about what actually goes on within us and what truly is our treasure, what truly rules our hearts.
