Today the story moves back to the main land. We’re going to see that Paul and his message takes center stage. In this we find the glory of the fact that the fulfillment of God’s promised salvation to Israel is the resurrected Jesus Christ.

In Him we find restoration with God. We all find restoration with God in and through Christ.

The offer of salvation here is not about doing religious things or keeping rules or laws. It’s not a contract by which people do certain things for God and God responds by giving certain rewards and blessings. At its heart, salvation is about restoration. It’s about a God who seeks restoration; a God who loves his people. It’s really about relationship.

This is something we really need to understand and comprehend and live out.
