Has anything good ever happened to you? I think all of you would say, yeah, something good has happened. Did you desire to tell other people? Half the fun of something good happening is telling others about it; being joyful about it with someone else.

I want to set a foundation this morning for later and for the upcoming year. I believe God is calling us to tell our stories. To tell the glad news of what God has done … of his work.

He’s calling us to tell these things here. This is part of the fellowship—to tell our stories here in fellowship with one another.

I think God has called us to tell our stories out there, as well.

Next week we’ll start talking more specifically about what that might mean for us. This sharing together is the heart of our family connection times that we try to do in our services. It’s an opportunity to connect with the church family, to connect to the lives of other people, the things going on around our church and in our lives, and sharing our stories.
