To Caesar You Shall Go

God has been at work through the trials and tribulations of Paul. We have seen God’s hidden hand throughout, working out his purposes in the life of Paul. Today, again, we will consider the opposition to Paul and the trouble he had and ask how this episode relates to us.

As followers of Jesus, the world will cast false accusations against us because of its opposition to Christ.

Paul continued to use the protection of Roman law and the Roman governor in order to faithfully advance his mission to defend the message of Jesus.

This story will encourage us.

This story will challenge us as well, to think about what it means to be faithful followers of Jesus.
