Today we’re going to see the conclusion of Paul’s second missionary journey.

The churches’ call to gospel ministry/mission cannot be accomplished without the active engagement of all his people.

Paul personally received the vision and the commission to be the apostle, the one sent to the gentiles. But he did not and could not do this alone. He needed others to help him.

He was connected to and sent by churches and he raised up and trained and commissioned many others along the way and they all together contributed to the mission of the gospel going to the end of the earth.

What I want to say this morning is that this is our mission as well. Not exactly as what Paul did. But our mission is certainly to raise up people who are on mission with us.

This mission is really the same today.
