Today we’re going to see that the gospel confronts all people with the call to repent and believe in the one true God as creator and redeemer.

Two questions to have in mind: 1) How does the culture of idolatry in Athens correlate to the culture both outside and inside the church? 2) How does the way Paul communicates to the Athenians help us to communicate with people today?

The main thrust of our message today will be that first question—talking about the culture of idolatry and what that means for us and how Paul himself engages this kind of culture.
