What if the Resurrection never happened?  What if there were no resurrection?

Why do we make such a big deal out of this Sunday? We say, it’s really the most important day in all of history. But why is that?

We can put ourselves in the shoes of the disciples of Jesus who had experienced the despair of his horrible death on the cross, then the thrill of finding him very much alive. What a great day that was for them.

That was 2000 years ago. What difference does that make to us now?

The primary point is: the Resurrection of Jesus fills our present lives with hope that fuels meaningful ministry. Without it we live in a vain hope that only leads to despair.

Ultimately our existence is meaningless without the Resurrection.

We’ll connect the resurrection to our present lives and hopefully find the motivation to worship God. To follow and serve Jesus Christ as well.
