In this passage, we will see what the followers of Jesus did while they waited for God to pour out his promised Holy Spirit. In times of waiting, the people of God prayed expectantly and yet actively worked to fulfill the plan of God. This is a challenge for us to prepare ourselves rightly and faithfully seek God’s work in our lives and in the church.
