PRAYER MINISTRIES

"Men ought always to pray." (Luke 18:1)

The vision of CrossView's Prayer Ministry is that we become people of prayer, seeking God's will in all we do and thanking Him for everything we receive. Our belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, is the rock solid foundation upon which we build the church and our lives. Therefore, we desire to be a church where people are consistently grouped together in prayer, not just in the sanctuary during Worship Services, but in every place and at all times. Our desire is to learn through prayer to be content wherever God has us at any particular moment.

We look to serve others through the power of prayer. For more info, contact the church office at 847-395-4117.

PRAYER ROOM

Here at CVC, we feel so strongly about prayer, that we have created a special prayer room. While prayer does not require a specific room, having a room designed specifically for prayer within our church walls is a comforting safe place to beseech our Lord. Individual or groups may use the prayer room. Contact the church office.

SUNDAY CORPORATE PRAYER

Join with others in the Prayer Room (located in Room A2 in the foyer) every Sunday morning 15 minutes before each service (9:45am) for a time of corporate prayer.

MONTHLY PRAYER MEETINGS

It is the desire of our church that we become People of Prayer, seeking God’s will in all we do, and thanking him for everything we receive. One opportunity for this is provided by having a corporate Prayer Meeting the 1st Sunday of each month. Join together as we share our physical and spiritual needs with one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to cast all our cares upon our caring Heavenly Father. We will also spend time praying for our church and for the Church around the world.

E-PRAYER CHAIN

Prayer requests that come into the Church Office are, upon approval, released to a group of faithful servants via e-mail. This group of individuals is committed to praying for the requests that come in on a daily basis. These requests range from health concerns, relationships, spiritual issues, financial concerns, etc. for attenders & families, and their broader network (neighbors, co-workers, relatives, etc.)
