Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This month we will be memorizing Genesis 15:4-6.
Bread Of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Saturday, May 10 ~ 9:00-11:00 a.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)

Missionary Visit & Potluck

Join us for a special potluck luncheon after the service as we welcome our visiting missionary who will share inspiring stories from the field.

Fuel Youth Ministry Update
Our FUEL youth have been working hard to organize "Plates of Appreciation" – a thank-you meal for our local first responders.
On May 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., they'll be serving lunch to police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and their families in our gym. This is entirely a youth-led initiative. They're handling all the cooking, serving, and activities for the kids who attend. It's their way of showing appreciation to those who keep our community safe, while also learning what it means to serve others. While we're excited to share what they're doing, this isn't an event they need additional volunteers for or one the congregation is being asked to attend.
The youth have it covered, and they're eager to take ownership of this service project. If you know any first responders personally, please feel free to let them know they're welcome. Please keep our youth in your prayers as they step up to serve our community in this way.
