Through the story of Abraham, we'll uncover how God's covenant speaks directly to our lives today—offering hope, purpose, and an incredible blessing that transcends generations.

Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus aour minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This month we will be memorizing Genesis 1:27-28.
Awana Grand Prix
Saturday, April 5 ~ Check-in at 9:00 am - Heats begin at 10:00 am
The Awana Grand Prix™ is a Pinewood Derby®-style racing event with over 45 years of fun and excitement. On race day, Clubbers go head-to-head with others, racing their cars down a track set up in the gym to see which cars are the fastest and have the best designs. Everyone is welcome to come, watch, and enjoy the fun! A short devotion and awards ceremony will follow. Snacks will be available for purchase during the Grand Prix, with proceeds going to the CVC Awana Club
Bread Of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Saturday, April 12 ~ 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)

GOOD FRIDAY AND RESURRECTION SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES
There is no greater cause for celebration than the Easter Season! The hope of eternal life depends on the victorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 
Join us on Good Friday, April 18, at 6:00 p.m. as we have communion together, reflecting and remembering the death of our Savior. Join us again in joyful celebration on Resurrection Sunday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Invite your friends and family to hear the good news that Jesus is Risen!!
CVC ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING AND POTLUCK DINNER
Sunday, April 27 ~ 5:00 p.m.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend a potluck dinner at 5:00 p.m. followed by the CVC Annual Business Meeting at 6:00 p.m. During the Annual Meeting, the CVC Budget Proposal for the upcoming year will be reviewed and voted upon, as well as the affirmation of Elders.
A Leadership Nominee information sheet is available on the table outside of the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend the potluck and meeting. However, only CVC members may vote at the meeting.
