This week's message, "Let Us Make a Name for Ourselves," delves into the story of the Tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1-9. What occurs when human ambition and pride conflict with God's purposes? How does this ancient narrative resonate with our modern lives?

Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This month we will be memorizing Genesis 1:27-28.
Bread Of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Friday, March 28 ~ 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.) Please spread the information about this ministry to your family, friends, and co-workers in need! Contact Joan at 224-522-9338 if you have any questions.
CVC MEMBERSHIP CLASS

CVC BEYOND

CrossView Beyond is CVC’s College & Career ministry for younger adults from 18 to 30 years old and beyond.
Whether navigating college life, launching your career, or discovering your path, this is where you belong. Led by Steven and Savannah Smart, the meetings are packed with engaging discussions, heartfelt worship, and fun activities that encourage personal and spiritual growth. GOOD FRIDAY AND RESURRECTION SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES
There is no greater cause for celebration than the Easter Season! The hope of eternal life depends on the victorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Join us on Good Friday, April 18, at 6:00 p.m. as we have communion together, reflecting and remembering the death of our Savior. Join us again in joyful celebration on Resurrection Sunday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Invite your friends and family to hear the good news that Jesus is Risen!!
CVC ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING AND POTLUCK DINNER
Sunday, April 27 ~ 5:00 p.m.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend a potluck dinner at 5:00 p.m. followed by the CVC Annual Business Meeting at 6:00 p.m. During the Annual Meeting, the CVC Budget Proposal for the upcoming year will be reviewed and voted upon, as well as the affirmation of Elders.
A Leadership Nominee information sheet is available on the table outside of the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend the potluck and meeting. However, only CVC members may vote at the meeting.
