This Sunday at CrossView Church
Pastor James Wychers will be walking us through Exodus 20:12-21 as we continue our series, "The Unfolding Gospel."
We've all experienced moments when following rules feels burdensome, yet we also know the comfort that comes from clear boundaries. Last week we began exploring this tension, and there's more to uncover.
How do we find freedom within God's commandments? What does it mean to honor others when it's challenging?
Join us this Sunday as we reflect on these questions in our sermon, Grace and Law - Part 2.
Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This July we will be memorizing Exodus 20:2-17.
Baptism Instruction Class
Wednesday, July 9 ~ 6:30 p.m.
Who should be baptized? Every person who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (So those who received his word were baptized. (Acts 2:41) If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith and desire to be baptized on August 17 (see below), it is essential that you attend this important class to understand baptism and prepare for it. If you are interested but unable to attend the class, please speak with Pastor James or call the church office.
Bread of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Saturday, July 12 - 9:00-11 a.m.
Friday, July 25 ~ 4:30-6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)

Bible Camp Update
With many factors contributing to this decision, we are sorry to announce CrossView Church will NOT be hosting Stand Firm Bible Camp this summer. If desired, you may inquire at Chain of Lakes Church in Lake Villa (chainoflakescommunity.church/events) and Living Waters Church in Grayslake (livingwatersag.org) about their Bible/Sports Camps coming up in June.
Pickleball
Attention All CVC Women!
Do you know how to play pickleball or perhaps you would like to learn? Come and join the fun and fellowship this summer!
Terry Sunday will be leading these gatherings on the first Thursday of June, July, and August (June 5, July 3, Aug. 7) 6-9 p.m.

Baptisms & Family Fun Day
Sunday, August 17 ~ 4:00 p.m.
Baptism is a beautiful picture of the gospel given to all believers. If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please contact Pastor James. Baptisms will take place at Promised Land Park in Trevor, WI in their ‘crystal clear spring water’ pond. More details to come!
