This Sunday at CrossView Church
Pastor James Wychers will be walking us through Exodus 20:1-11 as we continue our series, "The Unfolding Gospel."
We live in a world that often feels like it's pulling us in two directions—seeking freedom while needing boundaries, wanting grace while understanding the importance of structure. These tensions show up in our relationships, our work, and especially in our faith journey.
How do we balance God's grace with His law? What does it mean to live under grace while still honoring God's commandments?
Connect with us this Sunday as we reflect on these questions in our sermon, Grace and Law - Part 1.
Whether you're a longtime member of our church family or visiting for the first time, we'd love to have you join us as we explore this foundational topic together. This is the first of two parts, so you won't want to miss where this conversation begins.
Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This July we will be memorizing Exodus 20:2-17.
Baptism Instruction Class
Wednesday, July 9 ~ 6:30 p.m.
Who should be baptized? Every person who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (So those who received his word were baptized. (Acts 2:41) If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith and desire to be baptized on August 17 (see below), it is essential that you attend this important class to understand baptism and prepare for it. If you are interested but unable to attend the class, please speak with Pastor James or call the church office.
Bread of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Saturday, July 12 - 9:00-11 a.m.
Friday, July 25 ~ 4:30-6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)

Bible Camp Update
With many factors contributing to this decision, we are sorry to announce CrossView Church will NOT be hosting Stand Firm Bible Camp this summer. If desired, you may inquire at Chain of Lakes Church in Lake Villa (chainoflakescommunity.church/events) and Living Waters Church in Grayslake (livingwatersag.org) about their Bible/Sports Camps coming up in June.
Pickleball
Attention All CVC Women!
Do you know how to play pickleball or perhaps you would like to learn? Come and join the fun and fellowship this summer!
Terry Sunday will be leading these gatherings on the first Thursday of June, July, and August (June 5, July 3, Aug. 7) 6-9 p.m.

Baptisms & Family Fun Day
Sunday, August 17 ~ 4:00 p.m.
Baptism is a beautiful picture of the gospel given to all believers. If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please contact Pastor James. Baptisms will take place at Promised Land Park in Trevor, WI in their ‘crystal clear spring water’ pond. More details to come!
