Adult Sunday School
The Adult Sunday School class will be taking a summer break and will resume on September 14.
This Sunday at CrossView Church
Sometimes the stories we tell ourselves about what's possible can become the very walls that limit us. The Israelites faced this reality when they stood at the threshold of the Promised Land, listening to reports from twelve spies who had seen both the abundance and the challenges ahead.
How do we respond when fear whispers louder than faith? What does it mean to trust in God's steadfast love when the path forward feels uncertain?
Join us this Sunday as we reflect on these questions in our sermon, Spies, Judgment, and Steadfast Love.
Baptisms
What an incredible day last Sunday as we witnessed Adam, Charlie, JT, and Alex take their next step of faith through baptism in God's beautiful creation! Hearing each of their powerful testimonies before they went into the water was such a blessing to our entire CrossView Church family. There's nothing quite like celebrating new life in Christ surrounded by the beauty of His creation. Welcome to this new chapter of your faith journey - we're so proud of you all!
Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This August we will be memorizing Numbers 14:18-19.
Fall is Almost Here – Get Ready to Connect!
We're excited to welcome everyone back as we gear up for another wonderful season of fellowship, learning, and growth together! Fall brings with it a fresh start and so many opportunities to deepen our faith and strengthen our community bonds.
Here's a glimpse of what's coming up:
AWANA kicks off on September 3rd – a fantastic way for our kids and families to dive into God's Word together!
The very next day, Fuel launches on September 4th from 6:30-9pm. Whether you're new or returning, we can't wait to see you there.
Our CVC Beyond ministry begins meeting every 2nd and 4th Tuesday starting September 9th, 7-8:45 pm in the Annex, with Pastor Kyle Pratt leading the way.
And ladies, mark your calendars! Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study starts September 16th, 9:30-11:30am – a perfect time to connect with other women in our church family while growing in faith. In addition, Monday Evening Ladies Bible Study begins September 15th. Let's connect and grow!

Missionary Visit
Meeting Our Missionaries from Alaska
We have a special treat coming to CrossView Church! Our missionaries from Alaska will be visiting us for the first time on September 6th and 7th, and we couldn't be more excited to finally meet them in person.
These dedicated servants have been faithfully ministering in Alaska, and now we'll have the chance to hear their stories, learn about their work, and welcome them into our church family. We've planned two opportunities for our congregation to connect with them:
Saturday Ice Cream Social
Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 1:30-3:00 PM in the church cafe for a casual ice cream social. This will be a relaxed time to introduce ourselves, enjoy some sweet treats, and begin building relationships with our missionary friends. It's the perfect setting for conversations and getting to know each other.
Sunday Fellowship Potluck
Following our worship service on Sunday, September 7th, we'll gather for a potluck meal together. We're asking everyone to bring either a side dish or dessert—CrossView will provide the chicken. This extended time together will give us more opportunity to hear about their ministry and share in meaningful fellowship.
Whether you can make it to one or both events, we encourage you to come and extend a warm CrossView welcome to these special guests. It's always a blessing to connect with those who are serving God in different parts of our world, and we're grateful for this opportunity to support and encourage them.

Women's Conference 2025
"Jesus in the Old Testament"
September 19-20, 2025 
We warmly invite all women to join us for Cornerstone Community Church's Women's Conference, featuring the theme "Jesus in the Old Testament." This year's conference will explore how Christ appears throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, guided by the verse "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone" from Psalm 118:22.

Bread of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Friday, August 22 ~ 4:30-6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)
