Palm Sunday Sermon at CrossView Church
Join us this Sunday, April 13, for our Palm Sunday worship service at CrossView Church in Antioch, IL. Pastor James Wychers will be delivering a message titled "Who is this Jesus?" as we begin Holy Week together.
The sermon will explore John 12:12-19, the account of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, when crowds welcomed him with palm branches and shouts of "Hosanna!" This pivotal moment invites us to consider the question that echoed through the streets of Jerusalem: "Who is this Jesus?"

Bible Memorization
We are focusing on memorizing key Bible verses corresponding to Pastor James’ sermon series “The Unfolding Gospel.” Memorizing Scripture is an excellent discipline for spiritual growth that allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and so enrich our spiritual lives. This month we will be memorizing 1 Corinthians 15:54-57.
Bread Of Life Share Center Food Pantry
Saturday, April 12 ~ 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Friday, April 25 ~ 4:30-6:00 p.m.
CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the 4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.)

Good Friday & Resurrection Sunday Worship Services
There is no greater cause for celebration than the Easter Season! The hope of eternal life depends on the victorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 
Join us on Good Friday, April 18, at 6:00 p.m. as we have communion together, reflecting and remembering the death of our Savior. Join us again in joyful celebration on Resurrection Sunday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Invite your friends and family to hear the good news that Jesus is Risen!!
CVC Annual Business Meeting & Potluck Dinner
Mark your calendar and plan to attend a potluck dinner Sunday, April 27th at 5:00 p.m. followed by the CVC Annual Business Meeting at 6:00 p.m. During the Annual Meeting, the CVC Budget Proposal for the upcoming year will be reviewed and voted upon, as well as the affirmation of Elders.
A Leadership Nominee information sheet is available on the table outside of the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend the potluck and meeting. However, only CVC members may vote at the meeting.
Fuel Youth Ministry Update
Our FUEL youth have been working hard to organize "Plates of Appreciation" – a thank-you meal for our local first responders.
On May 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., they'll be serving lunch to police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and their families in our gym. This is entirely a youth-led initiative. They're handling all the cooking, serving, and activities for the kids who attend. It's their way of showing appreciation to those who keep our community safe, while also learning what it means to serve others. While we're excited to share what they're doing, this isn't an event they need additional volunteers for or one the congregation is being asked to attend.
The youth have it covered, and they're eager to take ownership of this service project. If you know any first responders personally, please feel free to let them know they're welcome. Please keep our youth in your prayers as they step up to serve our community in this way.
