We live in a world that whispers (and sometimes shouts) that more money equals more security, more freedom, more happiness. But what if the path to true contentment looks completely different than what we've been told?

How do we hold our finances with open hands? And what does it really mean to be rich toward God?

We'll be diving into these questions this Sunday in our sermon, Money, Love, and the Gain of Godliness.

Whether you're a regular part of our community or visiting for the first time, we'd love to have you join us.

Each month we encourage our CVC family to memorize a scripture passage.

Bread of Life Share Center Food Pantry

Saturday, Feb. 14 ~ 9-11 a.m.

CVC's Bread of Life Drive-Thru Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our neighbors in need of assistance.
The Food Pantry is typically open on the 2nd Saturdays of the month (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and the  4th Fridays of the month (4:30-6:00 p.m.).

Women's Winter Conference

CVC ladies! Would you like to get away for a day of refreshment through worship, teaching, and fellowship? Join us at Cornerstone Community Church, Saturday, February 21st, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.  The conference speakers this year will be Cozette Wychers and Val Christner. How important are friendships really? In this one-day conference, we will consider the Biblical theme of friendship and discover how relationships flow out of God's friendship with us through Jesus. We will further consider how God calls us all to cultivate authentic friendships with one another. Lunch will be provided, cost is $20. Sign-up in the lobby by Feb. 8th.

5th Annual Men's Conference

CVC Men, mark your calendar for this half-day event. This will be an opportunity for you to dig deeper with one another and with God. A light breakfast and a pizza lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend. More information to come.  

Awana Grand Prix Race Day

Sat., March 7th ~ Check-in 9:00 a.m. ~ Heats begin at 10:00 a.m.

The Awana Grand Prix™ is a Pinewood Derby® style racing event with a track record of fun and excitement. On race day, Clubbers go head-to-head racing their cars down a track set up in the gym to see which cars are the fastest and have the best designs. ALL are welcome to come and watch and enjoy the FUN! A short devotion and awards to follow. Snacks will be on sale during the Grand Prix. Proceeds will go to the CVC AWANA Club.
