Do you desire to follow the Lord’s example in baptism? If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith as a follower of Christ, please call the church office to make an appointment to meet with Pastor Mike or indicate your interest to be baptized on a Welcome Card and place in the offering plate.
PULPIT SEARCH COMMITTEE
The Pulpit Search Committee is formed and had their first meeting last Sunday. They ask that the congregation continue to pray for them and the wisdom to trust God’s plan in all of this. They are working together with the Elders to create a job profile for the Sr. Pastor position.
As we lovingly wave goodbye to Pastor David Lovi and remember his solid and caring shepherding of us, we trust the Lord to guide us in the process of finding a new Senior Pastor for CVC. Please continue to pray for our pastoral search committee.
Two prayer teams have also been formed to pray for the pastoral search process. One prayer team leader will lead prayer on the days/evenings the committee meets. The next meeting will be on Sunday, March 1 after the worship service. The prayer team will meet in the church office. The other prayer team leader will lead prayer on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Meeting Room 2.
BIBLE READING PLAN
We are encouraged us to be a church of one book—the Bible. That means we need to be in it daily. Therefore, we invite you to implement the Robert Murray M‘Cheyne’s Bible Reading Plan into your daily Bible reading. A brief synopsis: Read four chapters daily... two chapters as a part of a daily family devotion... two chapters are designated for private reading. Visit https://bibleplan.org/plans/mcheyne/ for more information and a reading calendar. Also, each Sunday the bulletin will list the daily readings for the upcoming week.
The 2nd Sunday of each month has been designated as ‘Baptism Sunday.’ If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please call the church office to make an appointment to meet with a pastor or indicate your interest to be baptized on a Welcome Card and place in the offering plate.
If you have been considering becoming a member of CrossView Church, please contact the church office for an application which explains the process for becoming a member or you may contact a pastor or an elder with any questions.
