Kindred Life is a local ministry whose vision and mission is to be a community where every teen parent and their family thrives and to cultivate growth, build relationships, and meet needs of teen parents and their families. Each year CrossView Church participates in their ‘Sippy Cup Thrive Drive’. Take home a sippy cup from the table in the foyer this Sunday, fill with spare change (or more), and return by Sunday, Jan. 27. Your donations provide mentoring, education, food and other valuable resources for Kindred Life’s young parents and their families. For more information please visit https://kindredlifeministries.org.
Many of our congregation members receive bonuses over the next few months. In anticipation of this, CrossView’s approved spending plan for FY2019 includes offering income totaling $10,000 that is designated as a special “Year-end Offering”. As you are blessed, take an opportunity to bless CVC with an offering over and above your regular offerings. When you make this extra offering, please indicate “Year End” on the offering envelopes to enable the Financial Secretary to track this portion of your offerings to see how well we do towards the goal. Thank you for your participation and generosity.

PHASE 1 PLAN AND GIVING
CVC is in the middle of our Phase 1 plan to help people make Jesus the center of their lives. Phase 1 aims to build mission foundations by focusing on ministry, beautifying our facilities and upgrading our audio/visual. As you can see, the building portion of the plan has begun. You may contribute to the plan by using the designation “Phase 1 Building” on your offering envelope. Please continue to pray with us as we seek to honor God in all our plans.
The mission of the Meals Ministry is to provide complete meals for those who attend CrossView Church after surgeries, illnesses, accidents, new births, or family losses. CVC families prepare and deliver hot meals to the family in need at no cost to the church. The goal is to meet the family's needs for meals while connecting them with Christians from our church during their time of transition or crisis. If you are in need or if you know someone that is, or if you can occasionally make a meal for someone in our church family, please contact the church office.
CROSSVIEW CHURCH E-PRAYER CHAIN
The CVC E-Prayer Chain is a ministry that serves others through the power of prayer. Prayer requests that come into the Church Office are, upon approval, released to a group of faithful servants via e-mail. This group of individuals is committed to praying for the requests that come in on a daily basis. These requests range from health concerns, relationships, spiritual issues, financial concerns, etc. for CVC attenders and families, and their broader network (neighbors, co-workers, relatives, etc.) If you would like to serve as an intercessor for your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus by having your name and email address added to our E-Prayer Chain, please contact the Church Office by phone (847-395-4117) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
BAPTISM AND MEMBERSHIP
The 2nd Sunday of each month has been designated as ‘Baptism Sunday.’ If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please call the church office to make an appointment to meet with Pastor David or indicate your interest to be baptized on a Welcome Card and place in the offering plate.
If you have been considering becoming a member of CrossView Church, please contact the church office for an application which explains the process for becoming a member or you may contact Pastor David or an Elder with any questions.
