New Study! - “The Book of Acts”

Bring your Bible and a pen/pencil!

The New Testament book of Acts. Acts records the early church development from the time of Jesus resurrection, and ascension 33 AD, to Paul’s imprisonment in Rome circa 67 AD. We will compare and contrast early church structure and ministry with today’s church. We will also focus on the responsibilities left us by the early church leaders as well as taught doctrines central to our faith. Class begins at 9:00 am and all adults are welcome. The study will progress chapter by chapter through the entire book. The instructor will provide attendees a study sheet of insights and questions from which the study will be guided.

9:45 a.m. ~ SUNDAY CORPORATE PRAYER

PRAYER MEETING
Sunday, April 7 ~ 6:00-7:00pm
It is the desire of our church that we become People of Prayer, seeking God’s will in all we do, and thanking him for everything we receive. One opportunity for this is provided by having a corporate Prayer Meeting the 1st Sunday of each month. Join together as we share our physical and spiritual needs with one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to cast all our cares upon our caring Heavenly Father. We will also spend time praying for our church and for the Church around the world.

NEW FURNISHINGS FOR LOBBY AREA
A couple of months ago, the Elders shared with the congregation the need to raise money for new furnishings. The Phase 1 budget includes building renovations, but does not include the significant amount of new furniture needed with estimates of $25,000. As a way we can all share in our mission together, we would like to give the congregation the opportunity to contribute to the purchase of these furnishings as we work towards our goal of making CrossView Church a place that is ‘helping people make Jesus the center of their lives’. Please pray about a gift you can give that is separate from your weekly offerings that would be used directly for our lobby furnishings. Thank you!

LOST AND FOUND
A lost and found bin has been placed in the foyer coat room. Please check here for any lost items (i.e.Bibles, coffee mugs, hats, gloves, scarves, etc.) Items not picked up within 6-8 weeks may be donated to a local charity.

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS NEEDED!
Volunteers are needed to deliver a noontime meal for those who are homebound or unable to prepare their own food due to physical or mental limitations. This is a great role for a group or individual who has a few hours once a week or once a month. Substitute and seasonal volunteers are needed as well! Contact Sue Fowler, 847-782-4126 or sfowler@catholiccharities.net.

MEALS MINISTRY
The mission of the Meals Ministry is to provide complete meals for those who attend CrossView Church after surgeries, illnesses, accidents, new births, or family losses. CVC families prepare and deliver hot meals to the family in need at no cost to the church. The goal is to meet the family's needs for meals while connecting them with Christians from our church during their time of transition or crisis. If you are in need or if you know someone that is, or if you can occasionally make a meal for someone in our church family, please contact the church office.

CROSSVIEW CHURCH E-PRAYER CHAIN
The CVC E-Prayer Chain is a ministry that serves others through the power of prayer. Prayer requests that come into the Church Office are, upon approval, released to a group of faithful servants via e-mail. This group of individuals is committed to praying for the requests that come in on a daily basis. These requests range from health concerns, relationships, spiritual issues, financial concerns, etc. for CVC attenders and families, and their broader network (neighbors, co-workers, relatives, etc.) If you would like to serve as an intercessor for your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus by having your name and email address added to our E-Prayer Chain, please contact the Church Office by phone (847-395-4117) or email at info@crossviewonline.org.
