The Sign of Circumcision
This Sunday, Pastor David Lovi continues in his current sermon series, The Life of Abraham. His message will be “The Sign of Circumcision” from Genesis 17:9-14.
There is perhaps no teaching in the Bible which has been misunderstood and misapplied more than the purpose and meaning of circumcision! The Apostle Paul went into depth to clarify, correct, and rebuke people's misunderstanding of circumcision. In fact, this was such an issue in the early Church that Paul wrote the Book of Galatians in part, to correct the Galatian Church on this matter. We can be grateful that due to having the full revelation of God in the Bible, we can see the true purpose and meaning of this sign which God gives to his servant Abraham. This text is actually crucial in revealing God's plan for His people.
Our worship service begins at 10 a.m. Nursery is available for the little ones (infants - Kindergarten).
Reminder: Out of reverence and to keep our newly remodeled sanctuary clean, beautiful, and inviting, we ask you to please refrain from bringing food and drinks (except for bottled water) into the sanctuary. You are welcome to finish your beverage and snack in the CVC café before the worship service begins. Coffee and snacks will again be served in the café after the service.
Thank you for your cooperation!
