The Great Faithfulness of a Great God

The Great Faithfulness of a Great God-min

CVC family and friends,

We will be following the same guidelines for worship service and fellowship this Sunday and for the foreseeable future. We will let you know when anything changes. Again, please use THIS LINK to sign up for this Sunday's (July 19th) worship service at 10:00 a.m.

We are pleased to welcome back guest speaker, Dr. David Dryer this Sunday. His message to us this Sunday is “The Great Faithfulness of a Great God” from Isaiah 55:10-11.

Just a reminder of a few changes as we transition back to recording the Sunday sermon on Sundays as opposed to Saturdays:

The sermon will be now be available to view (Lord willing) by Sunday afternoon on the CVC VIMEO PAGE for those who are unable to join us in person.

The sermon will then be posted on MONDAYS to the Church website SERMON TAB. You will also find it on the website in the righthand column under LATEST SERMON.

Please note that we will not be posting on the website on Sunday mornings as we were before. The link to find the sermon on Sunday are in this sermon announcement post.

Please be patient as we work through these transitions.

UPDATE JULY 17: Due to a positive COVID test at the Northern IL Food Bank, today's Grocery Giveaway is CANCELLED. The CVC Bread of Life Share Center Free Groceries event is rescheduled for next Friday, July 24, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

FOCUSING ON THE LORD

“You have heard it said that, when a pump is dry, you must pour water down it first of all, and then you will get some up. So, Christian, when thou art dry, go to thy God, ask him to pour some joy down thee, and then thou wilt get more joy up from thine own heart.” Spurgeon
